Marks in the first 'A' of Canada

  • On page 453, Marler discusses these varieties which are found on his Type 8 of plates 17 (part) and 18 to 36. "On a number of subjects of the plates of this group there were marks in the first A and in the N of Canada (or in the A only) which seem to have been caused by a second though only very light impression of the transfer roll."

    Marler felt that these varieties were too similar to attempt to describe.

    These marks are found on both sheet and coil stamps. We attempt to show as many different items as possible.
