- Long, faint scratch in the left margin from the C in CANADA to the bottom of leaf 4. The scratch begins at the frame opposite the C, curves outwards and downwards to the lower part of leaf 4, then bends inward abruptly and almost touches the frame opposite the bottom of leaf 4.

The variety is found as the UR stamp in a block of four and is the only stamp in the block to be retouched. Based on Marler’s data, this strongly indicates that 117LR35 is the correct position.
