Matte states: "Tool mark, exterior bottom frame"
In the Matte collection, his selection of #606 examples contained both 104LR34 and 104LR92. The differences are quite subtle ~ note the retouched upper left top horizontal line.
Leopold Beaudet determined the position using the plate proofs at Library and Archives Canada.

- Retouch to top frame at left stops in left outer oval above right leg of third A. 7.6 mm from left frame. Cavity at right end of the retouch.
- Engraver’s slip in bottom frame. Begins below the N in CENTS and ends below the 2 in the RNB. Similar slip on 104LR34.
