An engraver's slip variety in the bottom margin starting at the bottom frame below the 'C' of Cents and ending under the 'N'.

Leopold Beaudet determined the position using the plate proofs at Library and Archives Canada.

Leo's Notes

Engraver’s slip in bottom margin slopes down to the right. Begins below the middle of the C in CENTS and ends below the N.
Similar slip on 96LR4, but a bit longer.
This stamp is SEL whereas 96LR4 is SET.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
