2¢ Carmine 8LR62
Reiche states "No. 105 line from left crown through top letters ending in front of right crown, original die"
Comments
Note that this line is much higher than in Matte 809 or Matte 810.There are currently five very similar CPVs reported on the 2¢ Carmine. This is the outlier where the line is much higher on the stamp. An additional, interesting feature is the constant area of missing colour between the 'S' of Cents and the right numeral box. This would seem to be similar to the flaw found on 2UR97 - the "white dot above 'C' of Cents."
