2¢ Carmine 5LR87

A distinctive retouch of the vertical line of the left numeral box.

Leo's Notes

  • Left frame is thin to the left of the LNB.

  • Bottom frame is thin between the LL corner and the left edge of the LNB.

  • Vertical line of the LNB is thin.

  • Left half of the bottom line of the LNB is thin.

Stamps LR27, LR37, LR47, LR67, LR67, and LR87 have a large mark in the top margin above the O in POSTAGE. The mark is about half way between adjacent vertical stamps so it may be perfed out or appear in the bottom margin below the S in CENTS of the stamp above.

Small guide dot almost touching the right border of the left inner oval.

Similar to 6LL43.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
