"Doubling inside left centre of the oval band and below CA, between the top of the lower left spandrel and the frame, on the outside of the oval band at right centre and above E, with marks in CA, AG and the arms of E."

- The white area to the left of leaf 4 and the upper half of leaf 3.
- C in CANADA
- The left inner oval at the midpoint of the design and below CA
- The three horizontal members of the E in POSTAGE
- The right outer oval above the E and at the midpoint of the design
There are also minor marks in STAG in POSTAGE.
