"In two subjects - 129LL29 and 129LL86 - there are a number of extra lines which may be the result of the transfer roll coming in contact with the plate"

Research notes:

A close look will confirm that the misplaced lines at the top of the stamp come from left leaf 1 and the area around and below "Three Cents".

This is a very misplaced entry. (Look at the fine green lines on the first gallery image.)

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
