2¢ Carmine Coil 12UR18*

In his description of the sheet stamp Marler states:  "...there is a strong horizontal line extending from the 'N' in Canada to the right side of the frame."

Research notes:

The sidewise coil was printed from sheet plate 12 ( Marler Type SRO4) as well as coil plate 12.

This stamp is from the sheet plate 12.  This variety is also found on stamps printed in sheets. Both Reiche and Matte reported it in sheet format.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
