2¢ Green Coil

Doubling of some of the lines in the left crown. The top two horizontal lines in the upper left as well as the bottom lines of both numeral boxes are thicker than normal, but not clearly doubled.

Research notes:

Marler did not report any retouches or re-entries on the 2 cent green coils. However, he did note that plates 11 and 12 were used to print both carmine and green coil stamps. His notes for the carmine printings of plates 11 and 12 were to be considered with the green type SRR10 stamps.

A few CPVs from these plates have been found in both colours.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
