2¢ Green 228UL14

We are not certain that this is the proper image for this position.
"On Plates 227 and 228 the retouching of the oval line in the upper right between the bottom of the spandrel and the crown, or between the bottom and the frame, was so general that it was impractical to list all of the retouched subjects.""In one of them the upper right frame junction line was obviously duplicated - 22UL14."

Research notes:

The stamp illustrated is likely Marler Type RE1, but seems to show retouching as described on page 328.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
