The plate position was identified from notes taken by Leopold Beaudet using the plate proofs at Library and Archives Canada.

Leo's Notes

Left frame becomes weak opposite the top of leaf 2 and is thin from the middle of leaf 1 to the bottom.
Left edge of the LL spandrel is weak.
Vertical and bottom lines of the LNB are retouched; however, the vertical line is weak at the top and stops well short of the LL corner.

Guide dot touching the right border of the left inner oval.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
