The plate position was identified from notes taken by Leopold Beaudet using the plate proofs at Library and Archives Canada.

Leo's Notes

  • The bottom line of the LNB extends into the left margin.

  • The vertical line of the LNB is irregular.

  • The left frame is thin from leaf 3 to the LL corner.

The bottom frame is thin at the LL corner.

Smudge on the inside of the right frame opposite the lower part of the crown. This smudge occurs on the stamps in rows 2 to 10 of column 7 and rows 8 to 10 of column 8 of the LR pane.
