2¢ Carmine 89LL54

  • The right 2/3 of the bottom right horizontal numeral box line is thick - or slightly doubled.

  • The bottom frame below the right ‘2’ shows the final state of the relief break.

Leo's Notes

  • The bottom of the RNB is thick from the right edge of the left vertical member of the 2 to the right corner. Due to retouching?

  • The UR and LL vertical lines also appear to be lightly retouched.

Relief Break Progress:

  • 89LL74    Thin horizontal sliver touching the bottom frame below the middle of the 2 in the NB. The left side of the sliver is just beginning to detach from the frame.  The sliver’s pivot point is at the right end.

  • 89LL64    The sliver is more evident because the left end is slightly further from the frame.

  • 89LL54    The sliver, although thin, is quite visible.  The left side is fully detached from the frame.  The sliver is attached to the frame only at the pivot point.

  • 89LL44    The sliver is gone; however, it left no noticeable dent in the bottom frame.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
