2¢ Carmine 7LR12

Doubling in the left '2' and in the left numeral box, the bottom line of the right numeral box. The left frame is thick.

Research notes:

While not discussed in his book, Marler's personal collection had additional CPVs, usually with multiple examples.

Leo's Notes

  • Vertical line of the LNB doubled. The doubled lines are closer together than on 7LR21.

  • Lower half of the left frame is thick.

  • Bottom line of the RNB doubled. The lower line is directly under the top one. On 7LR21, the lower line is shifted slightly to the left.

  • Bottom of the 2 in the RNB doubled.

  • Two small horizontal dashes to the left of the bottom half of the 2 in the LNB.

  • Small horizontal dash in the vertical member of the T in TWO.

Similar re-entry on 7LR21.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
