Strong scratch in the top margin above PO. The top right corner, including the crown, is defectively transferred.

Leo's Notes

Outline of the cross, several jewels in the crown, and the UR vertical line are missing.
The right frame gets increasingly thinner from the base of the cross to the UR corner.
The top frame appears to be retouched from the right crown to the corner.

Best of the defective transfers to the UR on plate 12.

Curved horizontal scratch in the top margin from the third A in CANADA to the O in POSTAGE.
Fainter scratch rising to the right from the third A to the P.

We use Statser to measure basic website usage without cookies. The system processes page views, clicks, form submissions without form contents, referrers, browser/device information, error pages, approximate visit duration, and pseudonymous visitor keys. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently by Statser; they are processed briefly on the server to create a pseudonymous visitor key, apply technical exclusions, and optionally resolve approximate GeoIP information. If GeoIP is enabled, the IP address is checked locally against a MaxMind GeoLite2 database to determine the approximate country or city. The visitor IP address is not sent to MaxMind. MaxMind is contacted only to download and update the GeoLite2 database. Detailed data is deleted after the configured detail retention period. For long-term trends, Statser also stores aggregated daily values without individual visitor profiles.
