While the shape of the mark on these two examples seems to differ slightly, there are other indications that both examples come from the same plate position.

1. A dot in the bottom margin below the 'N' of Cents.
2.  A dot in the left margin opposite the bottom corner.
3. A guide dot in the inner oval at left centre.
4. A dot in the left margin just above the top left corner.
